The UCSF iMicro program is not a separate degree granting program; rather, it provides a cohesive community for all UCSF trainees (PhD students and postdoctoral scholars) interested in any of the research areas encompassed by the iMicro program. It offers a recommended specialty curriculum designed to be to be integrated with UCSF’s degree-awarding graduate programs. The core attribute of the program is advanced in-lab research training and mentorship by iMicro faculty.
